(ABN 20 061 257 725 / ACN 618 755 490) publishes a website, social media and other electronic communications (ie. e-bulletin and media releases) to provide information to unpaid carers, professionals who support them, the funding bodies and other organisations and individuals who support caring families and the general public.
The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. While we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, that the website or the information, programs and services contained on the website are error, virus, or bug-free or complete, accurate, reliable, available and suitable for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

Funding agencies and third parties (such as universities) are interested in commissioning future research to better understand client needs and find opportunities to improve service delivery. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of the program you are providing initial consent to research to be contacted. Please note you can withdraw your consent at anytime during your participation in the program.
Copyright subsists in material published via our electronic media. This includes text, images, software and code, logos, icons and multimedia files. All forms of electronic media are either owned by Carers Queensland or by third parties who have granted us license to use their intellectual property.
Use of copyrighted material
Carers Queensland encourages the sharing of information in the public domain.
Copyrighted material published via our electronic media may be reproduced or forwarded to other parties in the following instances –
- In whole or in part
- For non commercial purposes only
- With no alteration to content or formatting

The purpose of our newsletters is to keep you informed about our latest news, programs, services, events, and other company updates. Advertising and Promotions
From time to time, Carers Queensland will advertise or promote goods or services through our media channels including, but not limited to:
- TOGETHER magazine;
- eTOGETHER ;
- Regional newsletters;
- Social media e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube;
- Support groups.
Carers Queensland considers every request for paid and unpaid promotion or advertising based on the following guidelines. Every request is considered individually on its own merits.
Product or service to be advertised must be:
- relevant to our audience (carers and people who work with carers);
- of good quality and value;
- readily accessible; and
Carers Queensland’s audience is diverse in age, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, occupation, religion, etc. Any good or service to be advertised/promoted must not be:
- offensive to a significant proportion of our community;
- incite hatred, discrimination or violence;
- pornographic or illegal;
- tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs;
- isolating or alienating to a significant proportion of our community.
We also refer to right to defer, bump, or refuse advertising if there is too much existing content or conflicting content themes.
An acceptance of advertising/promotion does not equate to an endorsement of the product or service unless specifically requested, considered and agreed to by both parties in writing.

In the absence of a digital signature, a typed signature is recognised as acceptance of the documentation and/or agreement the client is entering into.
